Abode offers the ability to be prompted whenever a new booking is made on your website or at a connected channel. Follow the steps below to ensure the best possible setup. 


Download the Abode web app. (This sends notifications even when the browser is closed.)


  1. On the login screen, locate the URL bar. On the right side, select the small computer icon. 
    Congratulations! Abode is now installed on your device.  




Ensure Google Chrome has allowed notifications

  1. Select the 3 vertical dots in the top-right of the browser window. Select Settings.

  2. Select Privacy and security
  3. Select Site Settings > Notifications.



  4. Ensure Sites can ask to send notifications is Selected. 


  5. Now In Abode select Help > Allow Notifications and you will be prompted to allow notifications.





You will now be given a notification on your device when a booking comes through the website or your channel manager. If you would like to receive notifications on another device (ex.
