The Lightspeed Restaurant (O-Series) integration allows orders recorded in Lightspeed Restaurant (O-Series) to be 'Charged to Room', so the order is added to the Abode booking record for payment on Checkout.


First, log into your Lightspeed account, or go directly to your Lightspeed Dashboard.

In your dashboard, click on the POS button in the top right corner, however, you can also directly go to your Lightspeed POS.

You may have to select your user and enter your PIN accordingly to enter the POS dashboard.


To charge items to a room in Lightspeed Restaurant (O-Series), follow these steps:

  1. Select the products you would like to sell to the customer

  2. In the right section, on the top, click “Add customer” to select the customer from Abode.

  1. Search for the room your customer is staying in, should the name not be showing up. 

    1. Click “Abode” to search for the customer. 

    2. Click on the name to confirm. 

Note: A customer has to be checked in to be able to charge products to their room!

  1. The customer details will show up, confirm with “Save” on the bottom right.

  1. Confirm purchase with “Check Out”.

  2. Select “Charge to Room”.
    Note: Please only click the “Charge to Room” button once! It will take a few seconds for the system to process the purchase. Double-clicks may cause issues.
