Ensure your Smartpay terminal is powered on and has a connection. If the terminal has been paired previously you may need to unpair your device. A Smartpay guide for your terminal can be found here: https://www.smartpay.co.nz/guides/ 


Sign into your Abode account and go to your settings at the top right of your browser window:

Then, in the drop down click on Account:

Next, select the 'Apps' tab

All apps you can connect to Abode will show up in a table. Find Smartpay in the table and select ‘Connect Terminal’

 



You will be prompted with this message:

You will need to generate a unique pairing code with the eftpos terminal. A full guide for your device can be found here: https://www.smartpay.co.nz/guides/. When you get the pairing code, enter it into the message box and press ‘OK’.


If the pairing was successful you will be redirected to a new page and the terminal status will be displayed.
