The most important functionality of every PMS is how to create and manage bookings. AbodeBooking made it very easy to create bookings, as we explained further above.


In this part, we’d like to show you how to manage your bookings. We’ve got a lot to cover, so let’s get started.


Booking Page - Individual Booking

When you click on any booking in the calendar, AbodeBooking takes you to its booking page. It gives you all the necessary information in a glance:

  • Basic booking information, such as which room has been booked, the amount of guests booked for the room, when the guess arrives and how many nights they stay.

  • The rates for the booking

  • Manage your invoices and see how much has been paid.

  • The status of your booking

  • Personal details of your guest who made the booking

  • More booking details such as referral information, country etc.

  • A text field to leave notes for other staff members


As you can see in the booking page, we placed important buttons in the centre of the screen. You can either cancel the bookingprocess paymentscreate a group booking out of the booking, or unallocate the booking.


You might see the button “Add Sale” in this row, too. This button is only available in our standard version of AbodeBooking, and we’ll explain it later in this series.



Booking Page - Group Booking

When you click on any group booking in the calendar, AbodeBooking takes you to its group booking page. Just as you learned for the individual booking, this also gives you all the necessary information:

  • Basic booking information for each booking: Rooms, names, status, price, arrival dates, nights, the amount of guests booked for the room and balance of costs.

  • Personal details of your guest who made the booking

  • More booking details such as referral information, country etc.

  • A text field to leave notes for other staff members


As you can see in the booking page, we placed important buttons in the centre of the screen. You can either cancel the group bookingprocess paymentsadd roomsunallocate the group booking, or copy the entire group.



Confirm a booking and send a confirmation email

To confirm a booking, simply change the booking’s status and then email the guest with the confirmation.



Search for a booking

Sometimes you want to find a booking, but don’t have much information about it. This is when our search function comes in handy!



Process refunds

When a guest decides to cancel their booking, or would like to shorten their stay, you can refund a booking in only a few clicks.



Print or email a guest invoice

Often guests request to receive an invoice in either digital or manual form. We made it easy to print or email a guest invoice.
