We are pleased to welcome you as a customer to AbodeBooking. With this tutorial series, we would like to show how to use AbodeBooking the best way - so managing your accommodation becomes a breeze.
We will be going through the basic functions of our PMS. We’ll give you tips and tricks how to use it more efficiently, and we’ll dive deeper into some advance features later on.
To begin, please log into your account.
Overview and Navigation Bar
Once logged in, you’ll see the main screen of AbodeBooking. At the top, you’ll find the navigation bar. From here, as the name suggests, you can navigate to every feature of AbodeBooking. On the right-hand side within the navigation bar, you can search for a particular booking, go to your account’s settings, look for help and log out.
Below the navigation bar, is the calendar that shows all current and upcoming bookings for each room. The rooms are listed on the left-hand side. The calendar also allows you to create and select bookings. More about this below.
A newly released feature is the events bar: A thin line between the dates and calendar table. It allows you to easily add any notes to remind you or your staff about events coming up.
Calendar - How to create and select bookings
Creating and selecting bookings in AbodeBooking is super easy!
To create a booking, click on a specific date. If the booking goes over multiple nights, simply click on a specific date, and drag the mouse to the right for however many nights the booking would go.
You want to create a group booking? That’s super easy, too: Click and drag the mouse down to select multiple rooms/beds. Confirm your booking with entering a forename and surname.
During the setup process of your account, you provided AbodeBooking with some information to your accommodation, contact details and so on. You can find the detailed information under Settings (in the top navigation bar on the right-hand side).
We set everything up for you, so you don’t have to worry about it. Feel free to have a look through the settings, however, we’ll explain the settings in more detail further on anyway.
